Our advisers are fully qualified health and safety professionals with over 20 years experience of managing health and safety at work. We insist that they practice continuous professional development to ensure that they are up to date with all current, new and proposed health and safety legislation and practices.

Sound Safety Advice Limited has provided health and safety advisory services to a wide range of business sectors including distribution, construction, engineering, manufacturing and a variety of office based operations. The way we work ensures that we can help any business, large or small, in any industry, make lasting health and safety improvements.

Terry Gill

Terry is a qualified Maintenace Fitter by trade who has worked with and managed engineering departments. Terry has gained much of his experience working for a large chemical company Terry has over 10 years experience of managing health and safety. He is also a qualified trainer.  He set up Sound Safety Advice Ltd. with David in 2002 and since then he has been involved with setting up health and safety management systems and providing health and safety training for a wide range of businesses.

Terry has also worked on a number of construction projects that were notifiable under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 where he has assisted in developing construction phase plans, provided site management and acted as CDM Coordinator.

Terry  is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), an APS accredited CDM Coordinator and is registered on the governments Occupational Health and Safety Consultants Register (OSHCR) 

David Cook

David is a qualified chemist by trade with over 20 years experience of managing health and safety. He has gained much of his experience working for a multinational non ferrous metals mining and smelting organisation. He has extensive experience of carrying out health and safety audits in the UK, Europe and Australia. David set up Sound Safety Advice Ltd. with Terry in 2002 and since then he has been involved with setting up health and safety management systems for a wide range of businesses.

David has also worked on a number of construction projects that were notifiable under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 where he has assisted in developing construction phase plans, provided site management and acted as CDM Coordinator.
